Public Meetings

There are a variety of opportunities to get involved in the future of Moakley Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Moakley Park is currently undergoing a redesign process, and is also at the confluence of numerous other planning processes in the immediate vicinity including MassDOT-led design changes to Kosciuszko Circle, new private development at Dorchester Bay City, redevelopment of mixed-income housing at Mary Ellen McCormack, general mobility planning by the Boston Transportation Department, and a “Moakley Connectors Project” across DCR property to create better flood protection.

Scroll down to learn more about each of these planning processes and link to individual project websites. Many of these projects are actively accepting public input and participation in public meetings. Visit the project page to learn more about opportunities to get involved.

Upcoming meetings related to the Moakley Park redesign will be posted on this page below. Slides and recordings of past meetings can be found on the Boston Parks Department’s website.
